One of our key skills is managing technical change. Our Prince 2 qualified practitioners will help you introduce and update your technology, working through the full lifecycle from defining your requirements to operational handover. AMT has managed many major projects for leading organizations in both public and private sectors:
WorldSkills
WorldSkills is one of the largest ever exhibitions and competitions in the UK, occupying the whole of the ExCeL venue in Docklands, receiving over 200,000 visitors over four days and supporting around 3000 competitors, delegates and judges. We managed the provision of IT for the event, including 1000 PCs running Windows 7, Windows servers and Exchange 2010 email. The infrastructure was built using resilient NetApp SAN devices, Cisco Unified Computing Systems (UCS) blade servers, VMware, virtualized Windows 2008 servers, IronPort appliances, 250 Cisco switches and UCM hardware for VoIP services. The design was implemented rapidly to meet the hard deadline required for the event.
Experience
With over twenty years’ experience of working closely with senior stakeholders, we have delivered infrastructure and application projects for blue chip organizations including BT, Reuters and the NHS. Managing customer expectations, procurement and project finances, co-ordinating with functional departments and ensuring delivery from direct reports, indirect resources and external partners to implement technical, process and policy changes.
Experience includes projects for the financial sector (Reuters, HSBC, Merrill Lynch), networks and telecommunications (BT, Radianz), managed service providers and vendors (Logicalis, Global Crossing, Digital, Siemens, StorageTek), utilities (Eastern Electricity, British Gas) and the public sector (WorldSkills, NHS, LSC).
